also went next door to breitling for a croc strap for my navitimer, not in shop, ordered for me, sigh

then braved the teeming masses to stroll up to st james's for some pointy boots†, none in shop, ordered for me, sigh

Great night at a great pub last night (bridges Ratlinghope if you are interested), left the wife in the van and did a long run with friends, quick swim, few pints at the club. Now watching f1 in the hot tub, when this finishes off to the pub with friends

Seeing all this about high end spending reminded me of passing a fairly big queue in Paris Street last week outside a shop called Pop Mart. Wasn't really clear what it was selling. Looked it up and it is doll type things, but you buy them in an unmarked box, so you don't know which one you are getting. Obviously some of them are rarer to encourage collectors.
Apparantly they are not really for kids 🤷
