Morning
Still a bit windy here but other than the bird tables being blown over I can’t see any damage. However daughter dearest had water coming in through the boiler cupboard and one her fences blew down. Pity it wasn’t the one she wants to get rid of. So despite it being sunny it will be another turbo session.

Morning

Relentless hoolie.
Beans is not happy. He's attacked me and Tricky already this morning.

On the plus side, no trees down and I resurrected my old faithful Bialetti. Which has sat in a cupboard for 8 years+. Bought in 1998.

Morning all. Windy and Sunny here. A few leaves to pick up but no other damage spotted yet. Definitely no riding here today. A day of pottering planned.

Day 3 of what I'm presuming must be some kind of food poisoning/salmonella episode.

A night of stomach gurgling and butt draining has (literally) passed. A day of herbal teas and couch dwelling approaches.

At least I'm not missing any weather that I could have used.

Hoolie likely to be blowing all day, power has been on and off a couple of times, so got the log burner going. Have not yet had to resort to back up coffee preparation methods. Also been glad of the UPS on the WiFi router!

Blowing a hoolie up in Durham just now. Recovered and bacon sarnies consumed . Headed South for Teesside for round 3 of the Northern tour shortly.

As a middle aged, retired married man, I strongly refuse the implied allegation that I might have friends or a social scene capable of allowing me to contract such a condition.

Actually, I was visiting an old folks home this week and my brother and having checked, the majority of them are still alive; nobody up here's ill either, so I'm happy to rule that out.

As long as I breathe, I attack.

Today I made full use of the extra hour, currently decorating again. MrsHD is at home making pie filling for a trip to wales-ish,
No ride or fun here today but may plot a session on the indoor ski slope to test my new boots

blowing a gale here its kind of sunny  but lots of trees down, roads closed, train lines blocked...keep wondering about whether I should risk a ride outside, even though Im not sure if I opened my front door I could shut it again, but Im kind of stuck watching cyclocross now. maybe Ill spin up zwift later, or escape to the pub.
