4.15pm - Heavy Rain - 5.15pm - Bright Sunshine, Dry Roads and a Gentle Breeze.
Managed to get home in record time too 5 Minutes less. This was mainly due to using gears more effectively and not trying to get up the hills as fast as possible.

All this before my new Clipless pedals too which Hopefully will arrive for the weekend.

Happy days !

Hopefully it will be a bit better the next two days - you'll never go back with clipless.

Clipless is the way to go, mate.

I had another puncture on the way back today - not having much luck at the moment. Thankfully the rain had stopped and it was glorious sunshine while I fixed it!

For a change tody it was a dry commute (around 8 AM), it all changed a couple of hours later (around 10) but luckily it changed for lunch and my almost fruitless cycle to LIDL and the sun then stayed out the rest of the day. So I went for a 33mile cycle it totally bucketed though for the last 3 miles. As well as the other good benefits of clipless, IMO they come into their own in the rain, no slipping of the pedals. Good luck with them.

Absolutely lashed it down on the way to work though - Hands were Freezing.
Fitted Pedals - Practiced clipping and unclipping leaning on the wall in the garden got distracted and sort of went to get off forgetting I was clipped in on the one foot as I was practicing with the other and sort of toppled over.

Hand and Wrist are killing now

Don't even get me started on flooding yesterday [Thursday]. I swear I've never cycled in rain like that and half of the Hart to Haswell route was flooded in parts before the rain!
