Suntour XCT forks lockout?

hi everyone.

My bike has suntour xct forks. On each side the dial has a + and - preload.

These seems to make not alot of difference, and would ideally like to lockout the suspension but there doesn't seem to be this option. When Googling this part it seems they are lockout and have 1 dial which locks it which mine doesn't. Are there several variations?

unfortunatly these forks are poorly made and you wont get much adjustment. You can buy the lockout mechanism which would give that facility but its well known for being rubbish. They are pretty much use and abuse and then throw away. Have a look on ebay for suntour XCR forks as they have lockout and as long as the wheel size is the same you can just swap the guts out.
