Hi all, my brother has just bought a Felt Q520 and is happy with all apart from the forks

Are they supposed to be like riding a pogo stick when going up hills and they seem to constantly clunk after being compressed no matter if he has gone down a trail or just a cobbled street

Any way we removed the preload screw at the top and there is just a spring inside is there meant to be oil or pressurised air in there or is that it

Any help appreciated

That's it. If you're anything beyond sparrow weight you'll overwhelm them.

Slipping a spacer in fellow the Spring firms them up a bit.
