Holy cow! What is happening this year?

Leeds losing by over 50 to Widnes. Catalans being turned over at home by Hull. Wigan struggling against a weak Huddersfield side.

I foresee 3 embarrassing games for super league next week

I don't think those games are going to be happy watching but hey ho. I'm probably only going to watch the Saints game anyway

There was a recent rumour that he has stepped down. I have a feeling it is false but I can only hope.

If he does go. I will feel a little sorry for him. He was a legend on the field and tried his best as a coach he loves the club and loves winning. But he just isn't cutting it.

Hopefully it doesn't end his coaching career and he goes elsewhere and returns with more experience. A top club shouldn't be a training club for a coach.

I noticed after the Catalan game it was Jamahl Lolesi who spoke to the BBC.

Agree with everything you said. He loves Saints and fully deserves his statue but I can't help thinking a few years in a Giggs type of role would have been better, followed by a lower division club on his own and then if all that worked, come back to Saints.

The only problem with him stepping down is with saints mentality from the top they will prob give the job to another past player wello/long.
They need a top coach and to spend big instead of buying 2nd rate widnes players and has beens.

Daniel Anderson has been seen with McManus at a few games this year, maybe a sign? Most likely not though. In the meantime if he did step down, I think the reserves coach Ian Talbot would step in. Since his reserve side is undefeated this year, it may not be a bad thing to try?

Your boy Travis Burns went really well for Leigh in his debut game, 2x 40/20's, 2 tries & 2 assists.

Last time out at home v Fev he was a little anonymous, though you can see the quality.

I still don't think a Championship Club can win the MPG but live in hope.

Salford, Leeds, Widnes & Giants to be in the middle 8's.
