Well, as a Leigh fan I obviously hope we kill it, by that I mean 8th thereby avoiding the Q8's. Realistically I believe we could finish 9th or 10th but don't believe we will be bottom 2.

Widnes have lost Brown to Wire in a pivotal position & don't have a lot of strength in depth, Salford haven't recruited well & have lost Mason Caton Brown to Wakefield. Huddersfield have some quality but a poor mentality.

We will probably have to scrap to survive & have really tough opening fixtures, Cas, Leeds, Saints, Wigan, but survive I think we will.
You seem to have a big squad, lots of experience. My worry is you can easily lose momentum and confidence playing against top sides every week. Self doubt can creep in, the coach will have his work cut out keeping the team focused on a long season. Experience will help but also carry some older bodies, will be very interesting

Think you will get good gates

I am kind of hoping we exit the Challenge Cup early, even play a weakened team to do so & preserve players for survival.

Our squad is currently 27 strong, so not one of the biggest in numbers but fairly big in the forwards.

Room on the Salary Cap to recruit if needed.

Looking forward to an away day at a bus stop in Wigan Leigh. 2nd game of the season, I will be there

Your survival I think is going to depend on how HKR bounce back. It's tough, by the time it comes around again, 1 team is used to playing Super League standard, the other will have had a season in Championship. Leigh managed it last time, but I think it was a question of the ducks getting in a line. It's very tough to come up.

Our first team squad is at 35. Hopefully we can keep players fit, and keep Owens off the field. If Lomax, Percival, Swift, Makinson, Fages, (Smith arguably for the ability to direct a team if not much else), Ryan Morgan all stay fit. That's a pretty strong back line, and our pack has never been in doubt. This is a make or break year for KC I think.

Leeds have been surprisingly poor with signings, so maybe another bad year for them?

Saints ok very strong, I like Smith, the hysteria over his signing has been ridiculous, you don't play for top clubs under top coaches and play international if your a donkey.
Problem is many saints fans want players who are flamboyant, I would like to see that too but there's not many about, and many who play like that don't always win you games
Richardson looks a class act, hoping he comes through this season

Smith is a reliable player, he can direct and organise an attack. Better in defence than Walsh, and less chance to go missing in big games.

Terrible kicker though but hopefully Percy has still been practicing, and he is certainly not a game changer, and what feels like a stop gap. A young, flamboyant, fages alongside him will I think give a nice balance.

But if we have issues and end up with smith and Wilkin in the halves, I feel we will be removing our back play entirely.

I like Theo Fages game.
Leigh tried to buy him from Salford a couple of times but MarwanK Carcrash put a stop to it.

We have Wigan at home Sunday in a pre season Unfriendly, which also doubles as Micky Macs Testimonial for Wigan.

I will be at the hysterically named Totally Wicked Stadium for our return match (work permitting) as I have highlighted your new place as a must visit.

Best of luck for 2017.

Funnily enough I love the totally wicked stadium name, people take things too seriously. The sponsor must be very happy, how many times has it and will it be quoted lol
Yes I like fages, not sure he will come through as a top player but I hope he does
