The next one is due in 2034, not that far away is it?We seem to have had quite a lot of 'super-moons' recently... but this one, being the closest full moon since 10,000,000 years BC, is accompanied by cloud cover. Oh well. I'm sure there'll be another soon enough.

Does Miss Goodbody know?The way most nights of celestial phenomena go round here - it's cloudy and foggy. 7 o'clock this evening though we got a good and bright display in a break in the cloud. I went scampering for to find my lens for my 8" Dobson. Yes, 8 inches! My gf and her friend called out from the bedroom "It's too late. Your chance has gone." Dammit.
Edit: The bedroom window faces east. In the direction of the moon. Just in case...
