Brandane

The Costa Clyde rain magnet.
The Daily Express and other scaremongering prophets of doom were telling us that the remains of two hurricanes were going to devastate the north west of Britain today. Now I realise the wind is likely to worsen later, but so far...... It's raining and it's a tad breezy, but the same could be said for just about every day since the beginning of June!

Just another normal day then, so I am trying to plan a ride using the wind to my advantage. The train can bring me back home.

I said something similar. TBF though........one forecaster did say they wouldn't know for certain until "the weekend" when those storms decided what they were going to do.

That's awful. If a hurricane hit Blackburn the damage could run into the tens of pounds.
Hits down South, it'll be the end of the world!

The Uk always gets a few gales October - these don't look especially bad.

There's an excellent site which shows what is going to happen
