most engine cut offs are located under the engine cover at the back of the bus

however, since the bus has an automatic gear box it can just lock the back wheels up jerking passengers forward in their seats.

bus interiors are not very forgiving when it comes to stopping a body without inflicting pain to the extent that I know one person who's hip came out of joint due to someone cycling behind the bus and hitting the engine kill button.
