I would love to see U2 Live, but for many people in my area, £205 is a weeks wage or at the least half a weeks wages.

I understand that the music industry has reversed & that now a band make much less from album sales & lot's from touring, but come on Bono & friends, you are all filthy rich, so why ?
It's because he's a socialist and he passionately believes in the redistribution of wealth.

The trouble is, not being very bright, Bono doesn't quite understand the direction this redistribution lark supposed to work.

I know, I couldn't believe it, yet another thread with a title that gives no clue

I see you, Moodyman and Jonesy, haven't done this on any other thread, or is this just reserved for any threads I start?

I will name my threads as I see fit, the same as everyone else does.

OK, back to the topic, sorry.

That's a crazy amount to see anybody, most i've paid for a ticket was £50 and that was to see Kings Of Leon at Murrayfield.

Although I've just spent £43 a ticket to see Nickelback (it's for the Mrs xmas)

Serious brownie points you're earning there!

Most I've paid for a ticket was £60 to see Bruce Springsteen at the Stadium of Plight. Considering he played for over three hours and it was an absolutely cracking gig I think that's pretty good value for money.

it was only personal in that you choose to repeatedly do this and it's irksome, not as bad as the 'lots of space for scroll down dramatic effect' but getting there.

You crack on with what you think is best, this was a mocking criticism of style rather than content

Fightstar! I hadn't realised they were still going. I first saw them when I was working at my Students' Union, they'd just got going and were playing our 'rock night'. The crowd obviously remembered the frontman from his Busted days and they were duly bottled from the stage. I didn't think they would have lasted this long!

Yeah it's their 10th Anniversary so they were meant to be doing two nights in London and that was it but due to demand they are now doing a mini tour including Scotland :wahhey: This will be my 4th time seeing them and I've seen Charlie doing his solo stuff twice

Personally I can't think of anyone who I'd pay that kind of money to see, but if someone's willing to pay it then fair play to them.

I wouldn't knock it back if my boss offered me a ridiculous amount of money to do my job.
