however, this is ace that you've got them in your garden, ducks will literally go anywhere there is water, i've seen them in a puddle in a ploughed field before now.
my kids would be throwing bread at them right now. see if you can feed em some grapes (cut up) or some defrosted frozen peas, they love em.

Lovely. I kept 2 clipped wing ducks in the garden once for 6 months, Winnie and Nelson, but a fecking fox ate them one night. I became a supporter of urban foxhunting but it hasn't caught on.
