I'm sitting in a hotel room in Prague. I've had a few Pilsner Urquells and am deaf in one ear from the flight. I'm watching the BBC World News but I just watched an episode of The Professionals dubbed into Czech. I tried watching a Czech game show until I realised I didn't understand the questions and had no idea if I got one right. There's a Czech version of Jeremy Kyle on too but I have less idea what's going on there than I did with the quiz show. Kafka would be proud!

I guess you already know, but the astronomic clock is rather splendid, and if you're into such things, I really enjoyed Science / Engineering museum.

Rather fine beer.and a beautifull city !

Edit a rather moving sight was the war.memorial for the 1938 to 1945 war - the extra year changes the perspective somewhat

Czech is too fine a language to have an equivalent to innit. Lol!

Tomorrow I plan to have a coffee at the roof terrace of Hotel U Prince, right opposite the astronomical clock. I love the old town square.
