Hmm. That word seems to procure the same product on request in the Crimea, Sofia and Ukraine, I recall! I think I miss my frequent trips working abroad, but I certainly don't miss the flying hassles..

Earplanes completely fixed the problem for me!

They are supposed to only be used once but I had no problems using my pair on at least 5 return flights.

I took no chances and left them in throughout the flights.

Get yourself some Kosel Dark.

1) Pilsner is easy to come by in the UK anyway
2) it is far, far better than Pilsner.

That's definitely on the list for later.

Head over Charles Bridge away from the Old Town square. Turn right when you cross and head down the back streets and follow them around, you're looking for a street called Misenska, and a cafe called Kaficko. It has some of the best of hot chocolate I have ever had. Not the water rubbish, but real hot chocolate. So thick the spoon stands up. The best thing is, it's not sign posted, and not flyer'd everywhere. So it isn't full of tourists.

There's also a giant metronome if you're into that kind of thing, the John Lennon wall, etc. Plenty of weird old stuff around Prague too.

It is possibly one of the best cities I have ever visited, post up with what kind of stuff you want to get up to, and I can let you know where to find stuff.

When I flew to Prague last, the guy who elected to sit over the wing, made a very good job of attempting to open the door before he got moved.

I love Prague. It's the only place that I have found that soup in a loaf of bread meal. Potato & Onion soup in a small, crusty cottage loaf is just fabulizes your life, somehow.
I discovered a band called Era the time before last and have 2 of their CDs.

I agree, the TV shows are quite entertaining when you don't have a scooby what's going on. We made up the dialogue as the shows went on. There may have been some beer involved though
