Nearly as bad as the Finnish salted liquorice aptly nicknamed Sh*tbombs xx(

Oh I bought some of that too. I gave it to the office as a present. 'Hot Turkisk Pebar' or something. Look harmlessly like Worthers, taste of foul salty liqurice on the outside, bite down and get the black syrupy extract of old sock.

I've heard apocryphal stories of birds dropping out of the sky above an opened tin of this stuff.

I lived in Sweden for 14 years and ate the stuff twice.

The first time I was curious and didn't know what it was (xx() and the second time, a girlfriend had made some and would have been beyond grief if I didn't eat any (xx(xx().

Although I'll NEVER EVER eat it again, it tastes better than it smells.

Ha! Almost matches why I have tried it twice.

1st. First time visitor and wanted to try it to see what all the fuss was about.
2nd. Copious amounts of homemade vodka, pressure from the then gf (her dad wanted me to give it another go) and the continuing disbelief at how bad it was the first time

Having had it twice, I know I will also never, ever have it again.

Video of you opening the tin please !

A mate wants to try it, so I'm waiting for his visit sometime over the summer. I will try to remember. I have some homebrew mead and beer for him too - he's liable to be posioned on serveral fronts.

Although part of me is tempted to hide it behind the landlords radiator and then move out...or save it for the local kids trick or treat.

Any Swedes here? I picked up some last December. Since the weather warmed up, the tin has started to develop a life of it's own. Does it need to go in the fridge, or have I already wrecked it?

I am guessing I may need to open that outside.
That first photo give the impression that you can actually see the aroma coming off the can!
