I am a grad student and my team are working on a survey about safe Child Bike Seats and parents decisions on buying these bike seats. Done, though the questions being asked don't relate to my experiences of using a child's bike seat. Important factors are: clearance between child and adult at various points, particularly pedal stroke, ease of putting child in seat, easy of fitting seat bracket (or rack in my case), ease of removing and refitting seat, weight of seat, comfort of child, child foot rests, safety, visibility of seat, durability, appearance.
