Do you 'get" the raw fish thing? I just had sushi for lunch in Brighton. I've never had it before but did enjoy it.

The various dishes came around on a moving belt and you just grabbed anything yoy wanted ...all were good except one that blew my head off with a delayed Chile explosion.

I had six courses and tea for £ £28 ....no chips though lol

Nice, but Not exactly a pre ride meal though!

I love sushi. I will go to Yo! on a sunday when ever I can afford it. £20 for 10 plates (except yellow and gray ones) plus free miso soup. Cycling home is quite hard work.

I don't do raw fish anyway, so no, neither get nor like sushi.

I'm not particularly sensitive, or an animal rights activist, but there's a horrible video on YouTube showing a sushi restaurant serving a raw frog. They skin it, gut it, and serve it still living. I won't link it here its that nasty, but it's really findable on YouTube. If that doesn't put you off, nothing will!

See @Trikeman's post above...

I'll give the Googling a miss, thanks. I love sashimi and it's perfectly possible to eat raw fish without doing anything grotesque to frogs. I've not got the knife skills for anything terribly clever, but sliced raw scallops with a few zingy things on the side are hard to beat. Sushi should be left to people who are better at assembling it than I am.

Good sushi is lovely. I adore hot chili sauce but cannot stand the wasabi though.
