Sweaty back help

Hi you commuting gods im after a particular bag as im sick of my rucksack making my back sweat like Niagara Falls ! Does anyone know of or use what i can only describe as a sling over the shoulder DJ's vinyl bag or a smaller version of a Paperboy/girl bag that people deliver daily newspapers in ? Waterproof would be mega helpful. Any recommendations appreciated

That shiny new commuter would look better with a rack and panniers mate. I have tried a few rucksacks ... But always go back to panniers.
Added feature is no close passes as the bike appears larger to the drivers in my experience anyway!

Id rather walk mate than put panniers on my bike tbh. You wouldn't put hub caps on a Ferrari now would you lol

What would you be carrying? Just clothes and food? Or would you want compartments for a laptop, folders etc.

As well as messenger bags, you can also get rucksacks with a frame which holds the bag off your back, which, depending on what you're carrying, could be another option.

Just food,wallet,t-shirt etc nothing major needs to be able to hold a 2 lt bottle of water that's the biggest thing which can be laid left to right if upright doesn't fit.

Nice lol mines fine until the rucksack goes on then it just seems to wet itself !

I would and I'd get the cheap ones from pound stretcher............. don't like Ferrari !

BTW panniers for me all the time. Tried the backpack and looked like a ninja turtle and sweated like one !

If you worked where i worked mate you wouldnt drink the water out of the tap either ! Nice one for the linky that looks like a good starter. The specialized one posted above doesnt seem to exist anymore ?
