Hmm, dunno, just seen the vid again. To me it's six to one and half a dozen.
You did not have to be out that far imo. If you knew the van was there, a quick check and move across to the left to let the van through?
Also don't ubderstand the position on the approach to the traffic light? When you was out wide on the o/s. Was you trying to talk to the driver then?
Of course the driver claimed you called them a self-gratification artist? You say you did not so you don't know who to believe. And it was hardly a ram was it? Looks like the driver has hit the brakes to late rather then intentionally ram you.

As I stated in my original thread, it was a minor incident with minimal damage.
My position at the lights was indeed to allow me to ask the driver why he had passed so close but as the lights changed I gave up on that idea.
My main issue was that it was deliberate, I had my left foot down and had turned around to watch him drive at me, despite having plenty of time to stop safely. Not only was this my opinion it was also the opinion of the witness which the police officer never bothered talk to. With the rear video it is possible to hear when I unclipped my left foot and it again shows there is plenty of time for him to stop safely.
I had moved into primary as I was approaching a car parked on the right, causing a pinch point, and I could see the mini-bus approaching.
If the mini-bus driver had eased off very slightly and arrived at the parked car half a second later I would have been back in secondary position.
If the mini-bus had not been speeding, imo, the original bad pass would not have occurred.
If the mini-bus driver had not been using a bus gate illegally as a short cut the interaction would have occurred.
