After my disaster with my new Zondas arriving faulty I have decided to look elsewhere. I was always in two minds anyway about the whole mixing Shimano and Campag. I found Swiss side who are basically a Swiss company whose wheels are handmade in Taiwan. They look very good vfm, albeit some of the colours are very much personal taste. I can get a set of Swiss side Heidi Shadows, that come in at 1550g ish with spare spokes, QRMs for £225 or the slightly lighter Francs for £345.
They appear to be mail order in the main but they have a service centre near me (All Terrain) who also stock them so am heading off there this morning. Hopefully may come back with some new wheels, if I'm brave enough to take the plunge on a fairly obscure product.
So anyone any experience or advice?
