Funny how that works, I pay every bill and I mean every one. Yet I still run any spending on myself past her.

I am not under the thumb, I just have some weird old fashioned values.

I pay every bill, i bring home 70% of the household income
Joint account since day one
We buy what we want, when we want within reason, one keeping the other in check when consumerism rears it's head in our humble abode.

Seems to work just fine 99.9% of the time
