Hi,

Anyone else having trouble with mobile data on their tmobile phone?

Mine keeps dropping out then after a restart its good again for 15 minutes or so.

Might it be the phone rather than the signal?

Try switching networks to Orange, see if the problem repeats. If so, I'm siding with vernon on this as the phone at fault.

I thought that T-Mobile and Orange customers share their networks now? In fact, might the problem be caused by the phone suddenly deciding that a nearby Orange transmitter had a better signal then the T-Mobile one and trying to switch to it?

They can, however if he sets the search to manual, selects Orange(EE) & see if the problem repeats itself.
If it does I'd say the phones the problem, not the network. He could also select manual search & choose Tmobile(One2One).

Seems as if its back to normal service now.

Dunno what happened. Same phone, same location for the last 7 months and never a problem.
