A friend of my wife is looking to buy a good value turbo trainer for under £100, she has seen the Jet Black S1 trainer but has a mountain bike without a QR wheel. The question is, could she use the TACX Axle nuts for this turbo (or any other for that matter) or are they really TACX specific? She is fairly limited on budget but if there are any clever ways to achieve what she wants I would appreciate the steer.
