Tacx boost to mountain bike

Hi got a 2021 rockhopper specialized mountain bike and trying to convert the bike to the turbo, struggling putting the 700c x 23 training tyre onto the rim, and do I need a certain inner tube for the tyre, I just cannot get the tyre on?

I'm not an expert, but since no-one else has replied I'll jump in. You'll have a hard job getting a 700c x 23mm training tyre onto a mountain bike rim as the tyre is made to fit standard road bike wheels. You would be better off getting a narrow hybrid style trainer tyre made for MTB wheels. I presume your wheels are 29" ?

If it is a 29er then it will be nigh on impossible to fit such a narrow section tyre - just get a smooth 29" tyre like the specialized fatboy or wtb slick comp tyre.
