Tacx Spider Team Workstand vs LifeLine Pro Fork Mount Workstand

Anyone any experience of either? The TacX is double the price of the LifeLine. I'm struggling to find reasons to justify it.

There is only one advantage and the reason I want to buy thus type of stand: no clamping of carbon frame.

I’ve been clamping carbon frames for donkeys years and never had a problem
if your really worried a old pair of road bars clamped in the stand and the bike will just hand in them
bit of pipe insulation on the bars if your worried about scratching the frame

So you swap out the road bars whenever you want to use the workstand? I couldn't be doing with that. I'd rather remove the front wheel. It will mostly be used for washing the bike. Removing the front wheel helps with this so isn't really a chore.

Okay I'm not sure what you meant by road bars. I thought you meant handlebars.
