My wife took our daughter to see them on Saturday night. I sent her a text about 10pm asking if it was any good and her reply was "You've never seen anything like this"

They got home about 12:30 and Hope was still bouncing. Basically it was like a full circus show plus concert plus firework display plus, plus, plus! Anyone else go?

By the sounds of it if you get the chance to go to this show, take it. I think it's a real piece of work.

I really like Take That. Well, when I say "like" what I mean is they're alright. Well, I say "alright" but what I really mean is that in order to avoid ever having to even accidentally hear any of the turgid pseudo-pop pap they inflict on a bewildered world, I would rather have molten steel from a Sheffield foundry poured directly into my ears to sear out the last vestiges of hearing and also block up the ear-holes thereby shutting out all sounds for ever. It's a sacrifice, but worth it, I think.

Mrs Noodley and elder Noodlette went on Saturday....both said is was fantastic.

And by the amount they went on about it on Sunday I think I believe them!

The thing is though, in terms of entertainment value, they are probably head and shoulders above many 'cool' acts - even if you don't appreciate their style of music.

No I don't so f88k off :smile::smile:

I went and saw Art Garfunkel in Bristol a couple of years ago (freebee ticket off my mate as his G/F could go) I wasn't that impressed TBH

On the flip side, I went and saw Erasure in concert back in 90 in the MK bowl and even though Bell was 'camping it up', it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to.

Well you need something to distract the audience from the shoot on stage.

Mrs.Eldud and the MiL went to see it too and thought it was amazing.

I'm living proof that she has no taste so I disregard anything she likes.

My Wife's off to see them this Sunday. I think the Divorce papers arriving on the Monday should bring her down to Earth with a bump (or maybe elevate her further, who can say?!) :smile:;)

Guilty pleasures; saw them in the 80's with my GF and didn't understand why there were lots of gay guys there until Andy started doing all the outfit changes. Up til then we had only seen them in docks, jeans and tshirts ;)
