Just a fwiw. I've two kids supporting their studies by working in retail - they'd heard nothing. And a family member working full time in retail - ditto. So much for corporate training and standards.
Mind you, that's not a surprise - they're all working with "big boys". Companies (including
Halfords) big enough to take the hit and not notice; to use their muscle with suppliers; to "arrange their tax affairs" like the googles and starbucks; etc.
Something tells me this is just the kind of measure that gets slipped through very, very quietly and discreetly --- and just
HAMMERS the small guys. But then I'm a cynical old curmudgeon.
