You mean ride and a pint at the quayside haha....then back to hotel for all inclusive ...

Aye it sounds like a plan......id be up super early anyways so i could easily do more than 15km

Youve put my mind at ease mate.... didnt really want to go near syria haha

Don,t forget to check the foreign office travel advice page. If the are recommending not to travel to Turkey or any regions, I.E. Syria border or other areas that they consider dangerous, you might find your travel insurance company may not pay out if for some reason you needed to make a claim.

Fethiye is 700 klms as the crow flies from the nearest land border with Syria and the U K government only say do not travel within 10 klms from the Syrian border so the insurance is not even an issue . There are many more holiday resorts a lot closer to Syria than Fethiye .......Antalya........Kalkan.......Alanya etc etc where many British people live . Angry Blonde ....enjoy your holiday and your cycling :sun::cheers::bicycle::hungry::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::bicycle::cheers::cheers::cheers:

I am sorry that my advice which I considered to be sensible is considered to be amusing. Having learnt from experience regarding dealing with travel insurance companies and how the will use any excuse to not to pay up. Whilst being trapped in a cage and getting burnt alive might be amusing to you, being knocked off your bike by some lunatic driver and badly hurt and requiring a stay in a hospital and then casvac by plane may not be so funny, so whilst you find my advice amusing, best be sure your travel insurances are ok with your plans otherwise in the event of some unplanned accident you might find like others have, that you have a nice big bill to pay for.

Just for the fact they charge you a tenner to get in:wacko:.
They have a crazy visa system. Line upnin one queue to obtain visa, then line up in another queue tog et it stamped. However I have an ingenious way to get around this (but I can't share it lest the loophole is closed, don't pmnme either).
