Well i left work for home today in torrential rain.I was wearing my normal gear so all was as good as could be.I switched on my lights and settled down for the regular route.
About a mile in feet were soaking but no worries i could dry the trainers and socks when i got home.
Still torrential rain and the odd side gust of wind just to keep me on my toes.
Still torrential rain by now tights were soaked through but no worries they would dry out overnight.
3 miles in weather just the same.Jacket was keeping upper body totally dry.It was raining but was enjoyable.Even a couple of pedestrians spoke about the weather nice suprise.
After about 25 minutes i turned into the drive,
Pushed my bike past our car,unlocked the garage door,switched off my lights bounced the bike and stood dripping as my phone rang.
It was my wife..
The call went like this
"Have you seen this rain"
"Well yes"
"Do you want me to come and pick you up?"
"Thats very kind but i think i'll manage to get from the garage to the back door,Thanks anyway"
"Oh are you home"
"Yes love but thanks for the offer"
