ok
had a look at it at last
mech hanger snapped
rear derailleur arm bent
wheelset 622x12 36 spokes over 3 kg weight
alloy fork
tourney front derailleur with frayed cables
shifters 2200 (?) missing shifter window
crankset 52/ 38
42 cm bars, bar tape ripped
saddle had a rip on the corner
After a little thought i have left it out for the scrap man as i would need to spend a fair chunk to get it rideable

That's fair - sadly does sound like a bit of a lost cause with nowt worth robbing!

Nice to get some swift closure. I had similar recently with some clothes; begrudingly the recipient of a donation, was clear they were no good so got them down the charity shop ASAP to avoid them becoming another burden...

Managed 20 miles over the weekend, first ten miles okay not fast as not ridden since November really, return journey was into the headwind as always legs decided to give up lol nice struggle back home. Set off this morning had winter gear on as only 6 out there still dark wihen i left a few cyslists around with no lights (idiots). Also noticed some just in t-shirts and shorts no winter gear or over shoes must be getting weak in old age. Gong to ride into work from now on fed up with petrol prices recently.

A nice fresh start, my phone says 3deg C, probably a little to cold for the 3/4s I am wearing. The borrowed front wheel I'm using still has the noddules attached to the tyre somehow. Before it retired the old BTwin did 5 years down the Cambridge busway 5 days. So against the mudguard its a little noisy.

The majority of people seemed still on Easter Holidays though, the roads were dead quiet.

As what @HLaB said, train and roads dead quiet. But, it is still half term here in the the SE.
A bit nippy to start off with, but with a black windcheater on I could feel the warmth of the sun on my back.

Boy oh boy, after yesterdays 120 lumpy miler out in the Kentishire countryside, my legs were complaining awfully this morning. I tried to ignore them but they were screaming loudly.

Just a short commute for me tonight, 0.75mile ride to the station a 43miles train and 4miles ride home. Part of me was hoping the train would be late so I had an excuse to extend the first ride in the warm sun. I had promised folk I would try and get back for a group ride.

One good thing about the train journey someone had got on down south where technically full sized bikes are not allowed and occupied the cycle rack so there was nobody sitting there, nor luggage/ prams etc and space straight away for my bike 👍

final day of commuting this week, work as always gets in the way back to full cycle commute next week. Got to love Easter school holidays. Virtually traffic fee commute into work, even drivers seem less stressed one actually gave way to me last night unheared of in south London. Nice sunny commute into work with bonus of watching sunrise in the morning still slower than my best last year but thats probably due to all temporary traffic lights Thames water have put in digging up the road to justify the price increases.
