prompted by another thread, I may(or not) win a set of 105/5500 kit later. brakes, crankset and front and rear Durelliers.
......i`m moving from a compact chainset to a standard setup. I`m assuming(
) that my shimano 2300 brake levers(STI) will be ok with the front and rear Durelliers (?) and i know i`m going to have to change the BB, but will i have to change the rear cassette (8 speed) and chain?
if you`re wondering why i`m changing, bling TBH and i`m not ashamed of using the small ring
also, as i live in Suffolk the hills are small and inoffensive.............. just like my balls after a 40 mile winter ride.......
