For once in my life i'm thinking ahead. This morning's ride was nippy, so it seems to me a sensible idea to start thinking about the autumn and winter ahead.
I'm a particularly stubborn, silly cyclist so i'll ride through pretty much anything. Last year i had my trusty hybrid that I used to battle the elements. This year, i'm down to my road racing commuter.
I want to hear opinions on the best all round tyre for a road bike in winter. It needs to last through grit, dirt, snow and sleet, hail, rain and ice. I need something durable. Money is always a concern, but I realise there is a compromise between quality and cheapness.
So, fire away!
