YA'll

got myself a giant Omnium (2012) track bike. Compatible with giant overdrive* technology I purchased a 1 1/4" - 1 1/8" tapered 3T Rigida Pro fork. After installation, i heard a grinding sound coming from where the bottom head tube meets the fork. OKAY. SO. The fork with the sliding glass back drop is the original omnium fork. the 3t fork with out that silver bearing is the one i have now -- the black fork with that little silver bearing is not mine. I THINK I NEED THAT LITTLE SILVER BEARING. Can anyone help me out?

Loch side.
You need that silver bearing thingy called a headset crown race. It comes as part of the headset and I doubt you'll be able to source it on its own.

Some of Giants bikes came with forks that had an integrated crown race - very difficult to replace as there seem to be no after-sales forks available. You can't just fit any old crown race - it needs to be exact fit
