Just been giving my Dawes Sonoran a little wash and brush up as someone is coming to take her for a test ride tomorrow and will probably take her home .

Don't think I'd feel worse if I was selling one of the kids! To be fair, I haven't ridden it for a year or so, seems silly to have it gathering dust in the garage when someone else could make good use of it.

Just took her for a little test ride myself, nearly panicked and rang the punter to cancel!!!

You are giving life back to your Dawes which can only be good. It is cruel to keep a bike locked in the garage, lonely and forelorn.

Good luck with the sale!

Well, why not sell one of the kids instead?
In fact, if you sell them all, you'll have some spare money and more time for cycling!
Well the first three are teenagers - you can't even give teenagers away. I've got a ten year old who's still quite cute, she might want to take him.

Get enough gravy and lingonberries on, you'd never notice the difference!
OK, this is getting really wrong here...
I feel your pain. I recently sold a bike to a work colleague, and I regret it every time I see the bike in the shed at work.
The brakes levers have been swapped over.
The brake cables are now routed all wrong, and it really bugs me...

Ha ha, it's someone from work coming to see my bike. At least it won't be too difficult to steal it back if I change my mind!

I sold my genesis frame that got in a crash (the rest was a right off, the person also knew it got in a crash). I did it with such a heavy heart. I was thinking about it for the next week.

I sold my Dawes Super Galaxy a while ago.It was just sitting in the garage. After riding the Spesh Secteur Elite it just seemed too heavy.
It went down to London and it got a good home. The chap sent me a couple of e mails thanking me,great result.
