Horrible cars. I had the misfortune of being loaned one as a courtesy car whist my Fiesta was getting work done. The Eco Sport was awful in so many ways; uncomfortable, poor performance, terrible ride and steering. I never want to have to drive one again.
ok, in that case it must be extremely good at clearing it in the Captur. My partner rarely does journeys over 5 miles, lots of short trips, the very occasional 20 miler, and has never had any issues. Compare that to my Passat; I did 4x 400mile trips over Christmas and my DPF light has just come on
Some Renaults have the DPF very close to the cylinder head, so heat up incredibly quickly, negating the common issues when used for short journeys.

Another car worth considering is the Citroen Berlingo, which like the Doblo is van based, but has a raised seating position. There is also a Renault car derived van.

Surely you should buy one yourself and then there is one less for you to see coming the other way ?
I'm not a snob or owt, but I reckon I'd sooner chew my own arm off. :okay:
How about a roomster or rodius?!
Must be getting old, as I really don't know what either of those are.

Ask our friend john about the engines .

Meant to have gone this afternoon to look at two cars but after 4 calls to the garage I think they have burnt the bridge to that forecourt.

Been reading about a couple of other options ie Suzuki but not seeing any for sale locally

Honda? My CR-V has been great, I think they do a smaller model...

This has been suggested as i am a fan of the Mark 2 version and have had a couple of these as company cars over the years bur alas she is not a fan of them

Threw a few more options into the mix last night as finding a Juke / Quashqai is proving hard work .

Both new options got a no so back to the drawing board

What about a Citroen c3. I believe the do a “SUV” style variant?

There is also a Fiat SUV style variant of the Fiat 500 and I think a fiat grande punto s or something like that.

Funky offerings at the cheaper end of the market.
