Heading out on Friday 30th March for a reverse Tay Loop:

First big ride of the year, weather permitting. Starting at Brewdog Dundee before heading out past the airport to Invergowrie.

Route waypoints:

- Brewdog Dundee
- Dundee
- Invergowrie
- Errol
- Kinnoull Hill (climb and 30mi point - approx. 1130hrs)
- Perth
- Bridge of Earn
- Newburgh (first pit-stop for food and drink and 50mi point, approx 1200hrs)
- Cupar (short climb)
- St Andrews (stop at Luvians Bottle Shop and catch food and drink)
- Tentsmuir
- Tayport
- Brewdog Dundee (arrive at the bar for post-ride beer at approx 1600hrs)

I usually aim to complete this solo around 5 hours in the saddle (total time for the day is usually 6-7 hours). Ride is 70mi on paper but given travelling from wherever could be 80mi+.

The only challenging sections are the reverse attacking climb at Balthayock (gradient is pretty evil and walking pace in the granny ring is entirely acceptable) and a long-ish climb into Cupar. Everything else is pretty standard stuff.

I'm ride leader for this event which is being monitored/sponsored by Brewdog so i can promise free beers at the end of the ride at Brewdog Dundee.

So far I've got 4 bodies in, always looking for more.
