A guy on this forum has just bagges this very same TCR 3 from Paulscycles recently.

I had half an eye on a 2012 TCR Advanced at Pauls too (the only one I could find in my budget & ML) sadly it's gone, must only had one left.

Oh well.

So - it's a TCR from me...

& a TCR from him

(In a Two Ronnies kinda way).

I to liked the flat bar planet x bike. I've been a flat bar fan for some years. Bought a frame from them & built up my version. But soon came to the conclusion that drop bars would do the frame more justice in an aero way. But either way it's a quick bike.

I do seem to be leaning towards the TCR mainly because it's a Giant!

I think that while Px with the silver trim is very saucy though, and if my ally Cannondale flat bar is anything to go by, probably at least a match for a drop bar bike pacewise.

Just have a smigeoid hunch the Giant frame will be a better thing.

The TCR will be a better bike IMHO.

The only negatives (if they are) are that Giant use a none standard tapered head tube (super oversize) & so a standard stem doesn't fit.
Also, the seatpost is Aero & so that can't be swapped either (unless for another Giant Aero post), it just limits option's for fine tuning really.

I have an Aero post on my Sintesi (love it) & doesn't bother me, but a standard tapered head tube.

Incidentally, I had been wanting a TCR for a long time & found one at Paulscycles (2012 Advanced) for £1399, but alas couldn't raise funds quick enough - it's GONE
