TdF 2024

I have just read on a French website that the 2024 TdF will start in Florence and finish in Nice
It will be the first time in its history that the last day won't be in Paris.

Apparently, this is because of the Olympics start in in Paris a week later (the TdF will also be run a week earlier than usual, so it doesn't finish the same day the Olympics start).

Florence and Nice are both great places to visit. But they are both packed with people all the time.

I wonder if they will make it a competitive last stage, like a TT maybe? Or the usual trundle about for a bit followed by sprint.

I reckon they will be able to clear enough space to get the barriers up, don't panic Steve.
