Better wait until after Christmas, in case Santa brings you some! He reads this forum, you know!
Oooohhhh!
Dear Santa,

And that remote control digger that someone posted up the other day.
And a milling machine.
And some more Argoshield gas for my welder.
Thank you,
NT

Hmmmm, photo needed I think.
Check drop outs?

As the disc is gripped by the caliper it will try to force the axle out of the drop outs because of the stupid bicycle design that has become the standard.
Are there raised ridges around the drop outs to locate the QR nuts? Is the axle a good fit in the drop outs?
Mmmm, had another go around the block and the wheel has pulled all the way over to the left again!!
Only thing I can see is the little 'lawyer lips' on the drop-outs, 1 of the 4 looks a little bit damaged on the side that the wheel is trying to escape from.
Got the Secteur out of storage and put the Raceblades back on it for tonight, will take the new bike back tomorrow and let them have a look
Right off to Tesco I go for some mince pies essential supplies :hungry:

Two years in succession I was not well enough to even think about Cards. No one seemed to notice.
The third year, when I felt better, I included a long letter to each recipient. Not quite a round Robin sort of letter. The first and last paragraphs were tailored to the recipient. Some people still did not notice. This meant that my Christmas Card list was severely pruned. Mainly it contains family and some distant friends.

Knew your halo would slip soon
It's been a miserable couple of days. I've also broken into my chocolate turkeys from Hotel Chocolat. For the money, they're so not worth it. Good thing they won't be around for the 25th :mrpig: I also picked up some Ruth Rendell books so that's some comfort reading sorted for the next few days. And tomorrow's appointment has been cancelled, so I can stay under the duvet.

Anyone for :cuppa:?
