Oh good, hope he can find me a bit of gloss white paint in the bottom of a pot so I can touch up my frame
Tesco's is slightly busy, had to limit my purchases to real food and no treats, but another trip later when if it calms down a bit is planned :mrpig:
About to have a late brekkie, and it will be a big one :hungry:

Sideways :rain: and hail here. There's a severe lack of mince pies, chocolate, bikits and cake in my house. As in none at all.
I think Phil has some we can cadge :hello:
Hadn't noticed you'd reach your target Jo, well done. :bravo:
No slacking though, or you'll be needing that Christmas book I got you more than ever
There is a severe chocolate and cake shortage in my cupboards too, I did manage to sneak some Quavers into the trolley though, had a craving for them for 2 days :mrpig:

Tasha decided to leave the tree alone this morning. She thought it would be a good idea to go to sleep under it. I will try and take a photo if she does it again.

I have some chocolate, but no mince pies, no crisps or biskits. There seems to be a lot of Miss Marple mysteries on the tv over the next ten days, which is good. ^_^

I might be young and trendy (stop laughing) but I am a big fan of Miss Marple :hugs:only the proper one with Margaret Rutherford mind, not the godawful made for TV ones :stop:
Have baby wiped the bike after yesterdays mudfest, it is now looking very clean and shiny again
Well deserved pint of tea for me, anyone else want one while the kettles on? Proper tea, not southern green muck xx(

All the best presents come from the tip!

Well, I'm installed at Mum's, been here an hour and it's just gone quiet - she's gone next door to feed the neighbours' fish.

Fish and Chips for dinner :hungry: - not next door's fish I hasten to add, apparently they would be fiddlier than whitebait.

The rest of the party arrive much later, they aren't setting off until the boys are already asleep.

I have mince pies! And a tub of mini chocolate muffins that were reduced down to 50p. :mrpig:

I'm another Miss Marple fan. And, like Pots, it's got to be the proper Miss Marple, no imposters.

:cuppa: and a mini muffin?

Joan Hickson was the proper Miss Marple. I read that Agatha Christie said so. In fact she said it to Joan Hickson, when Joan Hickson was quite a young actress, and she was quite put out to be thought of as an old lady, but when the time came, she was indeed perfect!

Oh, and as I declined to hang around for lunch with workmates, preferring to get on the road, my boss gave me my £15 share of the tips, and the 4 left over mince pies... :hungry:

The rain was mad earlier today while driving around the M60!
I've been to Waitrose and bought some smoked salmon, two 400g packs. I did also eye up the fresh oysters at 65p each but didn't get any.

Presents from the tip are the way to go, fewer crowds, less traffic and considerably cheaper.

Yes, Joan Hickson, the other Miss Marple whose name I couldn't err um  remember.
