Naturally.

Talking of ... Pots, try to avoid making too much any noise when you get up in the morning. There's no need to clatter, I've put a clean mug out for you. Just make sure you tuck Henry up in bed so you don't fall over him and wake us all up.

Ee, you've been a chatty bunch...
Daffodils - there was one flowering on Christmas Day in my mum's local park!
Jo, if you're enjoying Forbrydelsen, you might want to catch Borgen on BBC4 - similar intrigues but set in the world of politics. You might recognise a face or two amongst the actors too.

The friend who lent me the DVDs has said the same thing. I tend to wait til things are out on DVD as I'm not very good about only watching one episode a week.

The trouble with chatting like this with people from all over the shop is that you never know if your hills match up to theirs. One cyclist's mountain being another's insignificant incline and all that.

I led a forum ride, and told people (including, if I remember rightly, Landslide and Mrs Landslide) about the one hill, followed by some gentle undulations.

When we got to the bottom of the hill, I said, this is the hill.

Nobody actually laughed, as they were all too kind.

I still call it a hill.

My day off has changed from Thursday to Monday to allow someone else to change their days off, so I've had a lie in today. Although I did have a stressy work dream last night to make up for it...

Arch, how did you find the forum ride you did with Colinj?
But of a shock I expect.

Right, Im off for my dinner :hungry:

Yes, it was.... not like the rides I'm used to!

I have done hilly - I go to Northumberland at least once a year. But then I combine hilly with frequent cafe stops, and tend to ride in the group that I know goes at a slow pace. I found Colin's ride rather difficult. Whatever he says about being slow up hills, he ain't!

Thats it i wish someone design a thermist you can put on the bike. So when it is cold (like today of course) and there is a red light you can sip your Tea or coffee with abit of cake! Tea and cake the best combination of a beverage known to moi!

On our frostbite ride on Saturday, while we were all risking hypothermia by sipping the ice cold water in our bottles, one guy calmly brought out a thermos of tea. It was a vile fruit tea that only he likes (cheeky git, sure he did it on purpose) but I still mugged him so I could cuddle up to said thermos.
