I put water in the kettle and switched it on to boil.
Put teabag in the mug.
Came back to desk and changed channel on TV, checked Stargazing was being recorded.
Kettle boils and...
...No mug?

Looked around and found the mug on the Freeview box.

No, worry not, it was too elderly even for me to think about eating it.

However, I did find a pristine stick of sprouts left out the other day, intended as 'garden waste'. Perfectly fine, firm sprouts, only a few of the ones at the bottom have a little bit of yellowing, and that's only on the outer leaves. We found a butternut squash at the same place, again, perfectly fine.

We were messing about at work today, clearing out some of the boxes we'd collected to cover with fancy paper, and getting rid of some of the bigger or awkward shaped ones. I found a hat!

Even better, it could double as a knight's helmet, if only I'd cut an eye-slit.

Hmm, I don't mind looking like a twit, but the double chin isn't good!
