Ignore list the pair of you :ninja:
Home from my hard days graft, did a variation of my off road route which cut out the muddiest bit and replaced it with a slight bit of A34 action.
Was better than I thought and will be doing that again, I am a little bit 'damp' from all the huge puddles though, good to be riding in just a fleece and lighter gloves again, sick of dressing like the Michelin man :sun:
:cuppa:?

Did you enjoy it? Are the staff of a good calibre?
It was ok, the chap taking the session didn't do a lot with me as I was quietly sitting in the corner drawing as I was getting used the event. There were three others there today so that kept him busy.

Next week he will bring in some paints for me to splash around as I said I wanted to get my design and inspiration side kick started.

I would be the same, Night Train. I would need at least a week to get used to the venue and the people, (as well as how to get there). Then I would gently start something new. Gently does it, is one of my approaches.

In a way my time at the Pump House is therapeutic. I am contributing, in a small way, to the Admin side of things, but with none of the stress involved in "working" in an office. The staff and other volunteers are very friendly. My two Line Managers are appreciative of the work I do. I currently do one day a week there, with a lunch in the Café.

I have recently been doing more sewing and knitting at home, as well as baking which are all therapeutic. I now need to venture out more. This part of Worcestershire is so quiet and friendly, that everywhere else I go, it seems that people are operating at a hundred miles an hour!

Me three, NT and Speicher.

My cycle group has been fantastic for getting me out of the house and being around people, and I think that's largely because we're not sitting in a room so I never get that trapped feeling. Well, I do, but I cycle at the front of the group and never mind if anyone thinks I'm pushy or whatever.

Just taken the dog out for a wonderfully muddy 6 miles. Well, *she* thought the mud was wonderful. Luckily I managed to avoid it, being up there on my bike.

Ooh, I've got wrinkly fingers.

Been washing inner tubes and tyres, having dismantled a chain for the links, and put them to soak in white spirit. By complete accident by being terribly organised I did the dirtiest job first, and then the tyre washing, so that my hands came out nice and clean too!

I also went to fetch some groceries and found a birthday present for Max at the end of the month. He is, apparently, obsessed with Volvos*, and I found a model tow truck with a Volvo to tow.

*I'm sure he'll grow out of it. Please!

Cheers. I'm never good at settling in with a new bunch of people, especially those who I am not expecting to be long lasting friendships.

I am supposed to take it easy but I have also booked myself in to a creative writing session as well, starting Thursday next week.

Currently watching 'Being Human'. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be 'human'.

I wouldn't bother too much, I only do it about half the time and it's not all it's cracked up to be...

I'm tucked up in bed now, wearing pjs, fleece, cardigan, socks and a hat.... And drinking :cuppa: of course.

I've got a hoodie instead of the fleece and hat, and gloves instead of the cardigan. Otherwise, snap!
