Evenings!!!
Just got in from a brass band concert.
They played the Imperial March from Star Wars!!! There was also another march - possibly RAF related? - that I can't put my finger on. Not Dambusters, not 633 Squadron, but another...

Battle of Britain by Walton?

Or the theme to the film of the same name?

I've just tidied up the leftover pork pie, and I'm off out in a bit to take some video of my colleagues at work for a fundraising video. Then I have laundry to do, some tyres to wash and some bags to make up....

Well seeing as the sun is out once more, and I enjoyed yesterdays ride to the water park so much I'm going again in a minute :bicycle:
Taking advantage of not being in work until 10pm :music:

Had my Special K and :cuppa:, now to hit the hills flat bits of the river :hello:

After this morning's task* I reckon I should get make myself a bike trailer.
It would need to have the 'foldawayability' of a Brompton though, but a bit stiffer in the frame.

I am confused now as my folks seem to have done lunch at 11am. That would have been 10am if it wasn't for the clocks changing!
I am stuffed now but will be hungry mid afternoon.

*I was chatting, to the chap I met up with, about my marriage plans and he said he and his wife just celebrated their second wedding anniversary on 29th Feb. after 8 years of marriage!

Ah, that will be part of their longterm plan to feed us 24/7.;)

I've been out and done some videoing, then come back and done some laundry, and then scrubbed a bunch of trimmed tyres. This afternoon, I make bags.

That's one way to have a memorable anniversary date, saves money on present buying too

Back now after a short-ish jaunt to Chorlton and Sale water parks, be better when the metrolink work is finished, though I expect it will impact a bit on the route?
15 miles in the :sun:this was my stop for a snack :becool:

Oh no I don't.

I am Idiot!

I have the vice, the MDF jig, the big stapler and the staples.

The inner tubes and linings are all at St Nicks.

:banghead:

Never mind, I can make belts instead, and maybe toy with some jewellery ideas.

:hello: Is there any :cuppa:? Spent yesterday at the beach, my legs are very sore after doing lots of running up and down with the dogs. Had us some chish and fips on the way home, though we had to drive through three towns before finding somewhere to get some. We forgot it was a Sunday evening in March!

Still laughing at the thought of Jo running
Images of Baywatch are not springing to mind

Talking of beaches, this Sunday is our 100 miler to somewhere on the coast near Blackpool, you can tell I am not good at geography, cj (the other one not the wonky haired one) has asked for someone else to download the route to be backup navigator, so far I am staying quiet :secret: or we could end up anywhere

Still sunny here, and I have tea :cuppa:

Well, I've trimmed a couple more tyres, washed them, then trimmed a couple more I hadn't noticed hanging over my bike the first time, washed them and then cut them all to length, and punched the holes for the buckle and rivets.

I have 20 ready to put together, but I'm having a break now!

:cuppa:?
