Isn't that what the floor's for?
Only if the treadmill is in use I suspect...

Blasted earworm!
I turned on the TV a moment ago and got a crowd of people singing 'There Is A Green Hill Far Away', which has been my incessant earworm since I was at primary school. I had managed to forget the original tune and replaced it with the tune of 'House Of The Rising Sun' and more recently 'I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing'.
Now I have the original tune back again!:cursing:

:cuppa: to take my mind off it please.

I have dug out a pair of agricultural tyres for my tractor. Massively deep chevron tread but the wheels need a coat of paint.

I also decided to assemble a 5" engineering vice my Dad bought from Aldi. The swivel base needed fixing as the bolt holes didn't line up. A quick go with a round file to oval the holes and that was fine. I then found the female thread was next to useless. The thread is so off centre that the thread is thin on one side of the casting. Also the threaded bit of casting is only held with one 3/8" bolt to the body of the vice. That will shear off with little effort as it also has to be loose to allow the vice jaw to to be wound in and out. Tightening it only make the vice jam up!
I don't know what Dad paid for it when he bought it but it is only worth scrap value. Totally worthless as a tool!

I sprayed some paint on an old inner tube yesterday to see how it stands up to being flexed. Looks ok so far.

Good to see you taking things easy NT ^_^

Run completed, 2.1 miles in 21 minutes, not quite ready for the Olympics just yet, but good for me. :training:
Now going to ruin it by having a small full English :mrpig:

Well done on the run!

That is all I have done today so it is 'taking it easier' then I would normally.;)
My BP is still way too high though.

I should meditate or do Tai Chi.

Yes. Hmmmmmmmmmmm. :headshake:

It's a good thing I'll be there soon to sit on you.

Boss (who wasn't in today) said we could go when the round was done and put down a full day, as long as it wasn't stupidly early, like lunchtime.

Well, it was after lunch when we left. Admittedly, we did the first run and were back to have lunch at 11am, back out at 12, all done by one....

I'll use a couple of lieu hours if necessary, I've accrued about 5 recently...

I put the agri tyres on the tractor.
I did rest both before and after and I didn't do anything about the the wheels I took off, they are just left leaning on the front of the tractor.
I also found a box that is a good fit for a bonnet over the batteries.

Quite apt really as the tractor flat packs!
