) news is that I've just had double the practice - patched the tube, put it all back together, did some of this >> 
and some 
and then some more ... and then stood there saying one or two naughty words as the PSI went in the wrong direction. Repeat as above, but with a different tube.

I didn't even remember to change out of my 'smart' jeans into the scruffy work pair I keep over here. Never mind, it's only dust....

My ordinary day to day electric drill is noiser, dustier and throws out more eye piecing debris just putting in a 5.5mm hole for a raw plug. I'd use ear and eye protection for that and a dust mask.
