<hoik>

No one drinking :cuppa: today?

I've just stopped for lunch, having cut up the necessary inner tube bits for 6 more bags. I ought to get on with them this afternoon, but I'm bored of inner tube! I might scrub and punch some tyres instead. I have a shiny new easy punch to use.

Good luck with the ECG, NT!!
The ECG was straight forward and very quick.

However, the nurse who plugged me in was doing the usual small talk 'How are you?', 'What do you do?', 'What brings you here for an ECG?' thing and when I mentioned I was off work with stress for over a year she began to probe for more info. With the little I gave her she, as all the other medical people did, began to suggest the industrial tribunal and constructive dismissal stuff.
Unlike the others she didn't leave it alone when I declined the suggestion. She pushed and pushed a guilt trip that I have to act to prevent the college ill treating others, 'They can't get away with it!', 'You should act and get compensation!'....and so on.

Argghhhhhh! I could feel my blood pressure rising rapidly and I was getting more and more worked up trying to politely decline her suggestion while reassuring her that I was 'man enough' to realise which fights are worth my while getting involved in and which are not.:cursing:

In the end I was glad I walked to the hospital and not cycled. The gentle walk back was what I needed to calm down again.:heat:

I have spent the rest of the day, so far, making up a voltage divider to make my 600A ammeter work on my tractor. After a few false starts it now works and is calibrated with the Cycle Analyst up to 100A, as I can't get it any higher without the tractor doing a Santa Pod launch through my front doors!

Please set up a web cam, just in case...

A big mug of proper strong tea (leaves) brewed in a pot, and then another.

I presume that this is man tea, but I serve it to ladies as well. ^_^
Mmm, the 'brewed in a pot' bit almost makes it girl tea, but I'll just let you sneak in on the man side
Just done my 1st ever Aldi shop  (well I did buy some cycling gloves about 3 years ago but that wasn't proper shopping) got to say it wasn't as horrific as I was expecting, it was almost like a real civilised shop, and I got change out of a ten pound note

Aldi jaffa cake anyone? :hungry:

The cat seems to be enjoying her Aldi cat food anyway
Saying that, she's got no choice it's all there is :ninja:

Tea, and a plateful of hot dogs followed by a jaffa cake or 5 :mrpig:

With a top speed of 7mph it won't be much to write home about. However, zorching a motor would be, especially as both the motor and controller are under the seat!
You should have a go, when you come up for the wedding!

Ah, top speed is one thing, how fast does it get there though?

With Beryl at work, I always feel she's quite nippy, up to 10mph, it's just that when you expect more, that's her top speed!

I've got a pasty in the oven (no, that's not a euphemism, NT, calm down...). I've had a more bitty day today, got the kits together for some bags and then washed some belt blanks, and then cleaned the kitchen a bit, and then some hole punching, getting used to the new punch - it's a bit harder to hit an exact spot, but so much easier to actually punch the hole....

While I wait for the pasty to heat up, some :cuppa:?
