Thanks for the concern, everyone else.
Jo, thank you for your selfless sacrifice in offering to have cake on my behalf. I am sure it will help greatly, I think.

To get my cholesterol down my GP and I went through a list of things I eat and avoid. The most likely candidate was cake and although I don't have to stop altogether I have to cut down big time on shop bought cakes and preferably switch to infrequent home baked cake with better ingredients. I should also give up on pies.

We never mentioned Haribo though!
