Just enjoyong the first brew of the day, stirred in the correct engineering manner.
With a screwdriver.
:cuppa:
I hope the screwdriver had a good protective coating of grease to prevent corrosion from the tea.

I've had a :cuppa: and a long night's morning's sleep.
Will need to cook this afternoon for an indoor picnic with a group of friends this evening. It is to celebrate a bumper harvest of strawberries from their allotment.
Was thinking of couscous and roasted veg with feta and olives, but if I can't get the couscous then it will be pasta.
The picnic will be indoors due to the rain.:rain:

My friend should be picking me up in about an hour or so, just time to safety pin myself back into trousers.

Yes, once you're dressed you look just like Liz Hurley in that safety pin dress.

I suspect that remembering that shows my age...

I've got new potatoes boiling, and vegetables roasting, for dinner.

But first, :cuppa:

Anyone any good at doing timetable things? Just found out that I have until the 13 August to get all my assignments in. I haven't been very good as my head is all over the place after loosing my mum. Need a big kick to get me started.

Dianne course tutor has mentioned getting a doctors not for mit serc but don't know if that is the right thing to do? Any ideas?

Not sure I can offer much advice. If a doctor's note gets you more time it might be useful. Otherwise, I fear the best tactic is to just Get On With It All, which is easier said than done.

13th August is about 6 weeks away. Are all your assignments roughly the same amount of work? If so, divide 6 weeks by however many assignments you've got, and give yourself a series of smaller deadlines. If some are much more work than others, try and weight the time you give yourself for each one. You might find it easier to concentrate on a sunject if you do them one at a time, rather than trying to work on several at once?

Can one of the more clued up members of tea tell me how many of these I would need to eat, to be 1 of my 5 a day?
