Seeing that cake reminds me that I have some caraway seeds to use up when I next bake a cake.

Does anyone remember me saying "under no circumstances whatsoever can anyone bring anything at all ever again round to my house to store"? (With the notable exception of any item with foreign names on it). The people moving out next door have asked if they can store the bags of clothes, towels, bedding etc that they will be taking to the Charity shop. They quite rightly do not want it muddled up with the stuff going to the tip, or taking up space in the removal van. So I now have seven very large bags of afore-mentionned items in my garage. Just when it was starting to look slightly less choc a block. I am sure they will collect it next week sometime and take it to the Charity shop of their choice.

Good question Night Train. There is a good reason. They did not find out until last Monday, the 25th, that the new people wanted to move in on Wednesday. They had done some preparation towards moving but it is a lot of work. Last time I moved house, I am sure I had six weeks' notice of the moving day. I think they will be busy enough loading the removal van tomorrow, without driving to the Charity shop. It is just ironic to me that having issued the embargo on other peeps' cast offs being stored at my house, as a favour to them, I am housing more clutter :scratch:useful stuff that needs a good home.

No Charity shop within a 10 mile radius will be open on a Sunday.
